Location: The Tropicana is located literally around the corner from McCarran Airport and on the most exciting and glamorous corner of the Las Vegas Strip. Connected via walkways to the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino and the Excalibur Hotel Casino. And two miles from the Forum Shops.
Hotel Features: Adjacent to many of Vegas’ newest and most famous casino/hotels, The Tropicana is surrounded by fine dining, shopping and entertainment.The newest addition to the Tropicana Resort and Casino is the Las Vegas Historic Museum, an exhibit that allows customers to take a peek into Las Vegas’ underworld, focusing on gaming, mobsters, entertainers and the brothels of Nevada. One of the first hotels to offer an elaborate, tropical swimming pool area, the Tropicana is still considered to have one of Las Vegas’ best five acres of pool area that include three tropically-landscaped pools, lagoons, waterfalls and hundreds of exotic fish. Two other large pools (one is for adults only) are open from April 1st to Labor Day.
Guestrooms: Garden Rooms are appointed with one king or two double beds, and surround the pool and garden area. Some include balconies. Island Tower Rooms are deluxe rooms located in the rear tower, convenient to the Convention Facilities and pool areas and feature one king size bed with a pullout sofa or two queen size beds. Paradise Tower Rooms are located in the front tower and nearest to casino area, and feature all the comforts of home including a refrigerator, iron & ironing board, hair dryer plus one king, two queen or two double beds.

This hotel is so old and outdated! In the Garden Room they gave us the sink and bathtub were clogged up and the toilet seat was falling off! It was horrible! They did up grade us, but took 2 hours out of our day. The hotel and casino smelled old and musty. The buffet was over priced for the quality of the food. Highly recommend spending a little more money for a better hotel!!!
